President of Azerbaijan Ilham Ali has acknowledged that the Azerbaijani army has targeted the cities of the Artsakh Republic. As reports "Armenpress", Ali said this in an interview with the Spanish EFE agency, noting that after October 10, Azerbaijan stopped targeting civilian settlements.

"After October 10, we do not target the cities of Nagorno Karabakh. "Until then, yes, we accept that," Ali said, adding that it was because the Armenian side allegedly deployed its military units and equipment in the Nagorno-Karabakh capital.

Ilham Ali once again expressed his dissatisfaction with the size of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, emphasizing that for so many years the Minsk Group Co-Chairs have not wanted to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

In the early morning of September 27, along the line of contact with Artsakh, Azerbaijan launched military operations with the involvement of Turkish mercenaries. Peaceful settlements are also shelled, including the capital Stepanakert, the fortress cities of Shushi, Martuni, Martakert, as a result of which civilians are killed in different regions of Artsakh.
