An app developed in Iran has been sharply criticized for its massive collection of personal data and digital surveillance of citizens.

YEREVAN, March 25 - Sputnik ․ The phone app, which determines the level of user protection for the coronavirus and presented by the Armenian authorities, raised doubts among experts.

On March 24, RA Deputy Prime Minister, Emergency Situations Commissioner Tigran Avinyan presented to the citizens the local app developed for the fight against coronavirus. Deputy Prime Minister's adviser Suren Krmoyan said that the app was provided by Iranian partners and adapted to local conditions through the efforts of Armenian specialists.
