Arthur Torosyan, 32, who broke into the Erebuni Plaza business center and shot himself, wanted to meet with Sedrak Kocharyan, the eldest son of Robert Kocharyan, and find out why he had been planned.

Speaking to Haykakan Zhamanak, his lawyer Eduard Aghajanyan said.

It should be reminded that on January 23 Arthur Torosyan invaded Erebuni Plaza and fired shots. Arman Sargsyan, acting Chief of Police, had talks with him personally, as a result of which he handed over the weapon and then was neutralized. A criminal case has been instituted in connection with the case under Articles 218, 235 (unlawful possession, transportation or transportation of weapons and ammunition) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia and Article 185, and detention was chosen as a preventive measure against Torosyan.
