On the Change.org platform, where people around the world are launching their civic initiatives, finding supporters and making important changes for them, an appeal has been issued demanding the resignation of Minister of State for Arayik Harutyunyan.

The appeal is addressed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan. It was made by user Sasun Mkrtchyan.

The text of the application states in particular: “For a long time the Ministry of Science and Technology has been in the hands of a man who has repeatedly proven his inability to make positive changes in the field. The allegations made by various circles to the Minister regarding:
- Funding and propaganda for LGBT community representatives,
- removing Armenian language and Armenian history subjects not yet solved in the school curriculum;
- To ignore the problem raised by ASUE students,
- Not solving the problem of YSU students,
- failure to implement changes in subject curricula and other similar steps.
Given the unprincipled attitude to such essential issues, we demand that the four most important areas be fully frustrated: Harutyunyan's resignation. ”
