The Criminal Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Mkhitar Papoyan, has heard a case of his defendants' November 7 decision not to release Robert Kocharyan on bail in the March 1 case. Haykakan Zhamanak was informed by the court staff.

The case is scheduled for November 26. It should be noted that the same day the trial of Robert Kocharyan and others is scheduled.

It should be reminded that on November 7 Judge Anna Danibekyan of the Yerevan Court of First Instance decided to reject Kocharyan's petition for release on bail, which was based on the October 15 decision of the Constitutional Court, SDO-1480. In doing so, the Constitutional Court, inter alia, recognized that bail was recognized as an independent measure of detention, ceasing to be an alternative measure of detention, so it could be used not only to conceal, but also to deter risk. This was viewed by the defense as a new circumstance.
